Rob is a superstar in the international skateboarding world. At the age of 12, he was the youngest member of the G&S Skateboard Team, and turned pro just four years later. His street skills landed him a spot on the DC team in 1995, where he then began designing signature products, including the first-ever skateboard/athletic shoe, the Dyrdek 1. He currently holds 21 Guinness Book skate-boarding records. His Skate Plaza Foundation has created legal, safe skate areas for the more than 13million U.S. skateboarders. Rob became a household name starring along with his friend and bodyguard “Big Black” in the #1 rated MTV hit show “Rob & Big.” His film career followed with Street Dreams --a feature film he co-wrote, starred in, and executive produced, and an appearance in the Al Pacino/Robert DeNiro film Righteous Kill. In 2009, his latest MTV show “Fantasy Factory,” debuted, focusing on Rob Dyrdek's personal office/playground, a 25,000 square foot industrial-complex-turned-funhouse designed to expand the reaches of Rob's skateboard empire, known as Dyrdek Enterprises.
